you've been all over the world, right? we couldn't find any black rope in africa, but there was talk of a foreign sorcerer who stole some and fled to france. apparently they're notorious for collecting cursed tools by whatever means necessary. do you know anything about such a person? i'd like to find them.
[ is she going to comment further on that? no. but between her preferences and how often she moves around, theres unfinished phone tags galore. yuki tsukumo's life is full of people, but pretty friendless. ]
in france? theres a couple big collectors who come to mind but i cant say ive heard about one doing it by "any means necessary"
we can ask around tho
you know how the distinction between a cursed tool and a cursed object isn't as clear cut for most sorcerers in other parts of the world as it is in japan? so some of those collectors aren't even really hoarding resources, they're just straight up doing what tengen does on a smaller personal scale, so the ones i've met do try to play nice with others
except that bitch ivak 🖕 he's really good at what he does but god what an absolute jackass
ah. i suppose it's just difficult in this line of work. (´∇`'')
[ He won't pry, but hm... an unfortunate trend indeed. ]
as expected, you're well-connected! they might not be in france anymore, but that was their destination at the time. compared to these other collectors, this thief might be more aware of the distinction then. i couldn't look into it as much as i wanted to, but they seem to be very elusive and particular about what they take. although tracking down a cursed tool thief might not be the biggest priority right now, i would definitely appreciate any help.
wonder why they took the black rope specifically. the efficacy drops by an order of magnitude if the user isn't proficient in any of the techniques of the different bloodlines that help make it because then it loses the overlapping reversed and straight cursed energy signature, just making it like any other cursed tool.
[ ........ ]
but it might still be good for disguising residuals?
hmmm, that's true. it could be used that way, but... maybe it isn't about using it at all. perhaps it's more about the worth of it? it's the only black rope left now. that has to make it pretty valuable, especially when it was already so rare before.
@ copy
hmmmmmm
the trend's not a good look for special grades you know
[ .... herself included, frankly but dwbi ]
but ok okkotsu-kun who are you looking for and what makes you think im the girl for the job?

okkotsu-kun, you're a sweet kid, you know?

ok that settles it

[ HE'S SO CONFUSED. He has no idea what got him that compliment?? And also it only gets more confusing. ]

[ we're gonna look for your thief, buddy.
please remember your passport ]

[ HE DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS??? And yet he finds himself scrambling to go pack as quickly as he can anyway... ]

i don't know anything about zhengzhou.
[ And there's no time to do research. help, he's already stressing. ]

no subject
um, could i ask what the actual end destination will be?
[ Also babysit??? She doesn't have kids, right? .... Right? ]
babysit?
should you really be leaving so abruptly like this, tsukumo-san? (•᷄- •᷅ ;)
